The goal of this project was to create an easy-to-use coffee cup lid application device to enable physically and mentally disabled baristas to apply coffee to-go lids without spillage, cup breakage, or contact with the lid mouthpiece. This project was in close collaboration with B3 Coffee Durham, a cafe that provides employment opportunities to baristas with a wide range of disabilities, to create a more comfortable, productive, and cleanly work environment.
