This virtual reality experience began as a class project and has since evolved into a passion project, leading to a collaboration opportunity with the New Orleans Museum of Art (NOMA). The featured objects come from the Nasher Museum’s Yoruba Art collection, captured through photogrammetry and refined in 3ds Max. The virtual museum’s architecture is modeled after the footprint of the Nasher’s primary gallery and constructed in Fusion 360. What started as a redesign concept with organic, intertwining wall forms has grown into a VR-centered exhibition, where flowing curves now define the museum’s ceiling and spatial rhythm. The project is ongoing, with updated designs to be released soon (see the Fusion 360 ceiling prototypes below).
