Digital Twin for Spatial Previsualization - Proof-of-Concept

Physical to Digital 3D Space Simulator is a sensor-driven previsualization tool that links a physically constructed miniature room to a real-time digital twin in Unreal Engine. Using reed switches, magnets, an ESP32-S3 Feather, and MQTT communication, movable walls and furniture in the physical model snap into predefined grid positions and instantly update the corresponding 3D environment. Designed as a proof-of-concept for spatial prototyping, the project explores how tangible interaction and responsive digital environments can make the design of immersive spaces more intuitive, embodied, and accessible.
